Welcome to Anna Bakes. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure the highest quality of service and clear expectations for all our customers.

1. Allergen Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Our bakery handles major allergens, including but not limited to dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts.

While we take strict precautions to prevent cross-contamination and offer products made without certain allergens upon request, we operate in a shared commercial kitchen. We cannot guarantee that any product is 100% free of trace amounts of allergens. Customers with severe or life-threatening allergies consume our products at their own risk. Anna Bakes is not liable for any allergic reactions that may occur.

2. Orders, Deposits, and Cancellations

• Deposits: A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required to secure your date for custom orders and large event catering. Your order is not confirmed until the deposit is received.
• Final Payments: The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to pickup or delivery, as specified in your invoice.
• Cancellations: If you cancel your order with at least 7 days' notice, any payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit may be refunded or offered as store credit. Orders canceled within 7 days of the event date are fully non-refundable.

3. Pickup and Delivery Liability

Pickup: Once a cake or baked good leaves our premises in your possession (or the possession of your designated representative), Anna Bakes is no longer responsible for any damage that may occur. We strongly advise driving carefully, keeping the vehicle cool, and placing cakes on a flat surface (like the floorboard).

Delivery & Setup: If we are delivering and setting up your cake, our liability ends once the setup is complete at the venue. We are not responsible for damage caused by venue staff, guests, weather conditions (e.g., cakes melting in outdoor heat), or unstable cake stands provided by the client.

4. Artistic Variations

Every product at Anna Bakes is handmade and a unique piece of edible art. While we strive to match your requested designs, colors, and reference photos as closely as possible, exact replication is impossible. We reserve the right to make minor artistic adjustments to ensure the best structural integrity and visual presentation of your order.

5. Non-Edible Decorations

Your cake may contain non-edible structural supports (such as wooden dowels or floral wire) or decorative elements (such as fresh flowers). It is the client's responsibility to ensure these items are removed before serving. Anna Bakes is not liable for any injury resulting from failure to remove non-edible items.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
